Being Home

It’s a treat to be home for an evening. Most of my time over the holidays seemed to be spent caring for clients in their homes (making their homes a haven for them and showing Jesus’ love through the care I give) and at church and family gatherings. Last night I got off work at 8:30pm and went straight home!!
A treat to clean the bathroom then set a lit candle in the window to remind us to pray for our home and family . .

A treat to spend time with Matt . . to wander into his room and find Manicotti begging for another belly rub while Matt explains gently that he has to do his schoolwork . .

To simply sit on my bed and listen to the quiet settling in that comes to my apartment building in the evening . .

Time to listen for God’s voice as I drift off to sleep.
